Co - Founder & Brew Boss, Makeit CoffeeBorn and brewed on the wild southwest coast of Pembrokeshire, Ben grew up dodging sea spray and sipping anything but coffee (blame the bitter brews of the time). But everything changed when he hit the vibrant streets of Bristol and stumbled into the world of specialty coffee. His taste buds woke up—and they haven’t slept since.
The obsession hit full froth in Australia, where the humble flat white became his daily ritual and the coffee scene changed his perspective forever. Armed with a passion for great beans and no patience for coffee snobbery, Ben co-founded Make It Coffee to bring that smooth, quality-focused Aussie approach back to Bristol—no jargon, no fluff, just seriously good coffee made simple.

Hailing from the rolling hills of Frome in the South West, Ned is a self-confessed nerd with a soft spot for anything technical—especially if it involves spreadsheets, or setting up complex coffee brew systems. He’s powered almost entirely by black coffee and big ideas, often found tinkering away in a dark room with a cup in hand and a vision in mind.
As co-founder of Make It Coffee, Ned brings clarity, purpose, and a laser-sharp focus on great coffee done right. He’s on a mission to make sustainability not just an afterthought, but the heart of everything Make It does—from bean to brew. Whether it’s reducing waste, sourcing responsibly, or just making a better cup of joe, Ned’s passion is brewed into every drop.
